Leonore van den Ende (PhD) is an assistant professor at the department of Organization Sciences at the Faculty of Social Sciences of VU University of Amsterdam. She is an organizational anthropologist conducting qualitative-ethnographic research on (inter)organisational rituals, festivals, events and projects, with a theoretical focus on temporality, ritualization, transformation and co-creation. She has published in outlets such as Long Range Planning, International Journal of Project Management, International Journal of Change Management, the Journal of Organizational Ethnography, including several edited books such as ‘Organizational Behaviour and the Physical Environment’ and ‘The Metamorphosis of Cultural and Creative Organizations: Exploring Change from a Spatial Perspective’.

She is one of the winners of the Amsterdam Sustainability Institute seed money 2021 with her interdisciplinary research project: ‘Festivals as innovative spaces for sustainability transition’.
