Lena Knappert is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management and Organization (VU School of Business and Economics). She holds a PhD in international human resource management from ESCP Europe (Berlin, Germany). Lena’s main research interests are on the intersection of diversity and inclusion in organizations and international HRM, such as refugee inclusion at work, context-sensitive and comparative perspectives on equality and diversity management, and high-inclusion work systems. Her work appears in high-impact journals such as Political Psychology, Human Resource Management, and Journal of Vocational Behavior.
